How to change it
- Reach Level 20 (the 3rd Digivolution). The first two stages are locked to Standard Type.
- Open the Partner tab and tap the Link icon (upper-left of the sprite).
- Pick a type: Attack, Defense or SP, then confirm.
The cost
Each change costs 500 DigiEmeralds. You can also switch to a different skill tree within the same type to only change your passive skills.
Which type is best?
SP (Recovery) is the current meta: constant self-healing plus strong support damage. Details on the Tier Lists & Meta page.
