Description
A Digimon that resembles a "baku," a being in Japanese folklore that eats dreams. Believed to have been born from a medical computer that monitors brainwaves, Tapirmon seems to feed on human REM sleep data. In the latest round of research, it was also found to possess the ability to erase nightmares and computer viruses. Since it can also return those nightmares and viruses to a benign state, it's believed to be a Holy Digimon. The Holy Ring it wears on one of its forelegs seems likely related to both its special abilities and Holy nature. Tapirmon's special move is Nightmare Syndrome, which releases all of the nightmares it absorbed at once to terrify its adversaries. This is the same special move as that of the Perfect Digimon, Digitamamon, but how the two might be related remains a mystery.
