What is Digimon UP?+
Digimon UP is a free-to-play monster-raising idle auto-battler RPG from Bandai Namco, released July 15, 2026 on iOS and Android. You raise Partner Digimon, feed and train them, Digivolve up to their Mega form, and battle through 600+ stages, dungeons and PvP — mostly on auto-battle, with idle rewards that accrue while you're away.
When did Digimon UP release?+
Digimon UP launched July 15, 2026 worldwide on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
Is Digimon UP free-to-play? Is it pay-to-win?+
Yes — it's fully free, and every feature is accessible without spending. It's monetised through optional gacha (Support, Skill Card and Buddy summons), a Battle Pass and in-app purchases. It's not inherently pay-to-win, though paying speeds up unit acquisition, which matters most in PvP. See Best In-App Purchases.

Platform & Technical

What platforms is Digimon UP on?+
iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play. There's no official console or PC version.
Can I play Digimon UP on PC?+
There's no official PC client, but you can run the Android version on a PC emulator like BlueStacks or LDPlayer. Since the game is auto-battle with idle rewards, it runs well on an emulator for leaving it open.
What are the system requirements?+
iOS: iOS 15.0+ (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch). Android: Android 9.0+ with 3 GB RAM. The initial download is ~267 MB, with additional data downloaded in-game.
Can I transfer my save / is there crossplay?+
Link a Bandai Namco ID via Menu → Data Link to save your progress to the account and continue on another device. Do it early — linking also unlocks a 2nd-Partner mission and lets you redeem codes. See How to Link Your Account.
Is Digimon UP down? (server status)+
If you can't connect, it's almost always scheduled maintenance, which is announced on the official Digimon UP X (Twitter). Maintenance usually comes with compensation — check the Updates & News page.

How do I get DigiPlates?+
DigiPlates come mainly from Apocalymon Wall rank rewards (60–200 by placement), Camp dungeon chests, and D-1 Grand Prix PvP (from Silver rank). You also get some from the 7-Day Login Bonus and the paid SP Support Growth Pack. They raise your SP Support Base Level (to max 200). Full details on the DigiPlates page.
How do I get Hologram Tickets?+
Grab 1,000 free from the Presents menu when you start, then earn more from idle rewards, the Fight! DemiDevimon dungeon, Guide Quests and the Battle Pass. See Hologram Tickets.

Gameplay

6
Which starter / Partner should I pick?+
It doesn't affect power — all 15 Partners are mechanically identical. Pick your favourite; what actually matters is the Battle Type you choose at Level 20 (SP is the meta pick). See Partner Digimon.
How do I reroll?+
It takes ~3–5 minutes: delete user data → skip the intro → pick a partner → claim ~3,000 DigiEmeralds → unlock Summon → pull the SP Support banner (aim for Aegiochusmon (SP Ver.)). Full steps on the Beginner Guide.
How do I level up fast / level up my Partner?+
Partner EXP comes only from selling the Equipment and Plugins you roll at the Hologram Device — not from battles. Use the Auto function to spin tickets and auto-sell. See How to Level Up Partner Digimon.
How do I Digivolve?+
Digivolution is automatic once your Partner hits the level threshold: Rookie 20 → Champion 40 → Ultimate 65 → Mega 90. Only Partner Digimon can Digivolve — Buddies, Supports and SP Supports cannot. See Evolution Lines.
How many stages are in Digimon UP?+
There are 600 stages across 12 areas per loop. After Stage 600 it loops and you keep climbing — idle rewards keep scaling up to their maximum at Stage 4,000. See the Walkthrough.
How do I change Battle Type?+
At Level 20, open the Partner tab → Link icon and pick Attack, Defense or SP. Each change costs 500 DigiEmeralds. SP (Recovery) is the current meta choice.
