Platforms
Next Order is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). The original 2016 PS Vita version released only in Japan. There is no Xbox version, though the Steam release plays fine on Steam Deck. It is developed by B.B. Studio and published by Bandai Namco.
Which version should you get?
- Switch or PC (2023) — the definitive way to play: the expanded "International" content, portable on Switch or Deck, and cheapest on sale.
- PS4 — the same expanded International Edition if you're on PlayStation.
- PS Vita — the original, Japan-only and missing the later additions; skip unless you're a collector.
The PS4, Switch and PC versions all include the expanded content the Japanese Vita original lacked (extra Digimon, areas and features). The game is single-player, with no DLC or multiplayer.
