Best Starter Digimon in Digimon World: Next Order
At the start of Next Order you raise two partner Digimon at once, hatched from a choice of ten In-Training Digi-Eggs. The eggs are well balanced and you can reshape your team as you play, so pick what you like — but two combos stand out for an easy, offensive start. Data from grindosaur.
The ten starter Digi-Eggs
Recommended pair

All-rounder — Agumon line
Koromon
Koromon leads into Agumon and its many branches (Greymon, Tyrannomon, Meramon, and on to MetalGreymon and WarGreymon). A reliable damage dealer that carries the early game and has strong Mega ceilings.

Hard hitter — Gabumon line
Tsunomon
Tsunomon leads into Gabumon and Gaomon, both excellent attackers that pair cleanly with Koromon. Between them you get fast, high-damage Champions and the celebrated MetalGarurumon route.
Which should you pick?
- There is no wrong choice — the starters are close in power and you can raise new Digimon at any point, so go with the designs you like.
- For an easy start, a Koromon + Tsunomon duo gives you two strong attackers with famous evolution lines (Greymon and Garurumon families).
- Your first goal is simply to survive training and reach a Champion — check each form's exact requirements in the Digivolution Guide.
Every starter and its full route is in the Digidex.
