Digimon Survive Evolution Guide
Evolution in Digimon Survive works differently from the raising games. Your partner and recruited Digimon evolve up the stages, and your Karma unlocks alternate evolutions for your partner Agumon in particular.
How evolution works
- In battle, spend SP to digivolve a Digimon to its next stage for a big power spike that lasts the fight — the main way you access Champion and Ultimate forms early.
- Permanent evolutions unlock as you progress and gather the required items/enlightenment slabs, letting a Digimon keep a higher form outside battle.
- Karma-locked partner forms. Your protagonist's Agumon evolves along paths tied to your Karma route — different alignments unlock different Mega forms.
Partner Digimon
Each main character has a partner Digimon with its own evolution line — Takuma's Agumon, plus Labramon, Falcomon, Floramon, Gomamon, Kunemon, Renamon, Lopmon and others — climbing from Rookie up through Champion, Ultimate and Mega. Recruited Digimon follow their own standard lines; see the full roster on the Recruitment Guide.
