Digimon Survive Routes & Endings

Digimon Survive has a Karma system with three alignments that decide your route and ending. Your dialogue choices throughout the story build Karma; at Part 8 your total locks you into one of three routes, and a fourth "Truthful" ending unlocks in New Game Plus.

Reading the choices: in most dialogue the left option is Moral, the top option is Wrathful, and the right option is Harmony — colour-coded to match. Lean consistently toward one to guarantee its route.

The three Karma routes

Moral · red · left

Moral route

Choices built on sacrifice and justice. Chosen at Part 8 with "Be true to my friends." Favours Vaccine Digimon.

Wrathful · yellow · top

Wrathful route

Choices that pursue the goal over your companions. Chosen at Part 8 with "Stay with Agumon." The darkest route; favours Virus Digimon.

Harmony · green · right

Harmony route

Choices that prioritise cooperation. Chosen at Part 8 with "Save the world." Favours Data Digimon.

The Truthful ending (New Game Plus)

The Truthful route — the game's true ending — is not available on a first playthrough. Finish any one route, start New Game Plus, and this time build affinity with Ryo and Shuuji (roughly 30 each) to prevent their deaths. Doing so opens the Truthful path and its extended finale.

Tips for getting the ending you want

  • Commit early. Karma builds from Part 1 — pick the same alignment's choices consistently so you clear the Part 8 threshold.
  • Karma also gates recruitment. Each alignment lines up with an attribute (Vaccine / Virus / Data), so your route shapes which Digimon are easiest to recruit.
  • Plan a second run. There are four endings but three routes per playthrough path — you'll need multiple runs (and NG+) to see everything.
