Is Digimon Survive good?
It reviewed around 81 on Metacritic with a more divided fan response. It's a gripping, mature Digimon story with multiple endings — but it's mostly a visual novel with light tactical battles. See our review.
Is Digimon Survive a visual novel or a strategy game?
Both, but it leans heavily VN — roughly 70% story/reading and choices, with grid-based tactical battles in between. It is not a monster-raising sim like the other Digimon games.
How many endings does it have?
Four: the Moral, Wrathful and Harmony routes on a first playthrough (decided by Karma), plus the true "Truthful" ending unlocked in New Game Plus. See Routes & Endings.

What platforms is Digimon Survive on?
Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) — it's the only game in the network that's also on Xbox. It works on PS5/Series via back-compat and on Steam Deck.

Gameplay

How long is Digimon Survive?
About 30–40 hours for a single route, and 80–100 hours to see all routes and endings including New Game Plus.
How do you recruit Digimon?
Talk to wild Digimon in Free Battles and answer their questions well to fill their approval gauge — see the Recruitment Guide. Your Karma alignment makes same-attribute Digimon easier to win over.
How does evolution work?
Spend SP to digivolve in battle for a temporary power boost, unlock permanent evolutions with items as you progress, and note that your partner Agumon's Mega forms are tied to your Karma route. See the Evolution Guide.
How does the Karma system work?
Your dialogue choices build Moral (left/red), Wrathful (top/yellow) or Harmony (right/green) Karma. Your total locks your route at Part 8 and also affects recruitment.
How many parts is Digimon Survive?
The main story is split into 12 parts, plus a prologue. Your Karma total is checked at Part 8, which locks which of the three routes — Moral, Wrathful or Harmony — you finish on.
Does Digimon Survive have New Game Plus?
Yes. After finishing the game once you unlock New Game Plus, which carries over your Digimon and items and is required to reach the true Truthful ending and to save every character.
